June COVID Updates
Parents can turn their last packets in by Sunday, May 24th, and teachers will provide feedback available on the bus by Thursday, May 28th for pick up.
We have completed our belongings pick up for all grade levels. If you did not pick up your student’s belongings, please contact the school. You can email email@example.com to schedule a time to pick those up by June 2nd. Any belongings not picked up by June 1st will be discarded. Any students who did not turn in district materials (textbooks, library books, Chromebooks) by June 2nd, will be billed for them.
The state has given schools permission to resume high school baseball and softball starting June 1st. Practice will begin June 1st for both programs and measures will be taken to ensure we are doing it in accordance with the health guidelines that have been set. Games will begin the week of June 15th. We ask that fans maintain the guidelines set forth, including social distancing regulations. As a district, we understand it is nearly impossible for us to regulate and enforce social distancing. However, if it is not maintained, we are no longer abiding by health guidelines and therefore not providing a safe environment. Please abide by these regulations so that we can provide our students with the opportunity to compete this summer. Please do not attend events if you are showing symptoms of illness. There will be no concessions during games and bleacher space will be limited. We will have more information about transportation and other safety measures available soon and will communicate that information at that time. This is ONLY for HIGH SCHOOL baseball and softball. No other school-related activities are permitted, such as open gym or summer strength and conditioning until July 1st at this point in time.
